Baby Pumpkin Luka - La-La Land Crafts

Hello everyone!

Today will be my last (at least for now) inspiration project for the La-La Land Crafts design team. I've been a part of this amazing team for almost 3 years and it was a huge honor and pleasure for me. I am grateful to Irina Blount and Sandie Dunne, as well the rest of the amazing ladies on the team for being supportive, fun and simply amazing. I will make a little break with Copic coloring now :)

This week's theme was "All Shapes and Sizes". I've created a treat box for Halloween with the following products from La-La Land Crafts:
Stamp:
Baby Pumpkin Luka
Dies:
Bare Branches
Crows
Heart Handles
Stitched Tags
Love Owl Tag (for cutting the tiny leaves)
Boo! Banner
Autumn Leaves
Stitched Elements
Spiderweb Corner
Pumpkins

Luka is colored with Copics:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000
Oranges: E09, YR18, YR16, YR14, YR12
Greens: YG67, YG63, YG61, YG01

Here's a little close-up of the dies' cluster:

The tutorial for creating this easel drawer box may be found here:

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit the LLLC blog post for having a look at the projects by the rest of the team.

DIY Notebook with the 'Steampunk Debutante' by Graphic 45

Hello everyone!

I'm here today with the notebook which was created from scratch and embellished with the paper from the Graphic 45 Deluxe Collection "Steampunk Debutante".

For embellishing the cover and the dividers inside the notebook I used a lot of cut out elements. The flowers were all cut from the paper called "Fantasy Floral":

For the closure  I used one of the hitch fasteners by Tim Holtz. The book was bound using the Buttonhole Stitch Binding (this is the tutorial which helped me while I was creating my book).

The book has 8 dividers, and each has more cut out elements from the paper, as well as a bit of stamping using the Graphic 45 Color Box Decades Inks, and die cut gears by Tim Holtz.

On the inside of the front and back covers there are side pockets for the notes, tags and other papers:

I have a video tutorial with all the measurements and explanations on how to make this book. The second part of the tutorial covers a detailed process of the cover embellishing. I share my way of layering multiple elements on the cover. I hope some of you will find it useful :)
